cain-examples software package provides simulations of chemical reactions, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cain-examples
cain-examples is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cain-examples package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cain-examples *
You will get with cain-examples package name, version, architecture and description in a table
